We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were incredibly helpful. The location in a quiet area, yet still close to Yufuin station, was just perfect. And the breakfast provided was delicious.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The location was unbeatable, just a stone's throw away from the main street with all the shops and restaurants. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. They even provided recommendations for nearby attractions. the private hot spring baths were a major highlight. It was so relaxing to have our own personal space to enjoy the hot springs whenever we wanted.
The only drawback was the number of stairs in the ryokan. This could be a challenge for guests with limited mobility or heavy luggage.

the fact that there were private baths available, especially for those with tattoos, made the experience even more enjoyable. Another positive aspect was the included meals, which were delicious and offered a variety of local dishes. the location was also great, with easy access to the main shopping area and a short walk from the train station.
The hotel was difficult to find at first. This led to a frustrating and lengthy walk to the actual hotel.
